At2020Usb Drivers Were UpThe phantom power supply is turned on, all the cords are securely fastened (I disconnected and reconnected to check), Ive tried it on both my Win7 laptop and my Win10 computer (both of which Ive used to record many times) and still no audio is detected, Ive checked to see that the mic volume is up in the settings on both machines (but I havent ever changed anything in here), I made sure the drivers were up to date, I tried uninstalling the mic on one machine and restarting to make sure the drivers were updated and still, no sound. On the Windows 10 machine, I made sure Allow apps to access your microphone was on. Should I try a new XLR Female to USB cable Im afraid I dont have alternative sound equipment around to test the mic on, but I can go to a location that did if necessary. Thanks very much for your time. If you have a Guitar Center or other music store near you, they can probably help you test the mic on their gear. Thank you so much level 1 1 point 9 months ago By your description, Id say the analog-to-digital converter in the XLRF-USB cable has run its course. Even without any troubleshooting, the ADC would be my first guess, since its certainly the weakest link in the chain. ![]() I purchased a MXL MIC MATE PRO XLR To USB Preamp with Gain and it sounds better than ever. ![]() All rights reserved Back to top.
